Pajamas Theme for February 11!!!

ok it's real simple: tomorrow is Pajamas (Pyjamas) theme! wear your comfiest and coziest PJs (Jammies) to youth group! please tell me you've seen the cartoon Bananas in Pyjamas!!! hopefully you have and you'll be inspired by it. Sorry Brian if a few of us fall asleep tomorrow night! :)

College Gear for Return of Theme Nights!

heyyy everyone it seems like its been ages since our last theme aka it was last Halloween! well by special request from Cameron, we have decided to start up these crazy theme weeks again! If you haven't been here or have forgotten what this is all about, I post a blog every week stating the "theme" for that week, and everyone then dresses according to that theme when they arrive at youth group! It makes you look forward to seeing everyone even more and comparing outfits. So this week is College Paraphernalia week! Wear anything that has the name of a college or colors that support a college or whatever tomorrow!!! So yeah just be proud of whatever college it is you support.

Halloween Costume theme for October 29!

we had so much fun last week that i dont know if we can top it this week.
as you all know, this Friday is Halloween. whether you celebrate it or not, most of America's youth acknowledges this day by going out at night disguised in a costume. The Nightmare Before Christmas is our inspiration for this week. so put your thinking cap on and be creative with your costume!

Nerd/Geek theme for October 15th!!!

chyeah! so bowling last week was purdy fun! i mean, i didn't bowl but it seemed fun from afar. watching Mallory totally own at the crane games was my enjoyment. so! this week's theme is Nerd/geek/awkward kid in class who knows everything. since all of you did such an amazing job last week participating, i'll be expecting the same turnout this week! so go all out and get those suspenders and glasses ready, because we're smarty-pantsing it up on Wednesday!

Color Theme for Bowling on October 8!

Bowling!!! Ssstttrrriiikkkeee!!! haha so last week's soccer theme was so much fun! we were legit fo sho. Sam was goin crazy, and the kickball game was pretty intense. i missed you Quinn!
anyways, this week, we're going bowling. it's at Jupiter Lanes i'm pretty sure and that's where i had my birthday party in like 3rd grade. it was so much fun. lol well so this week's theme is color-based. all the guys, BOYS, males, men will wear as much BLACK as possible. then the gals, GIRLS, females, women will wear as much PINK as possible. easy enough right? oh, and Michele will be wearing yellow for her own personal reasons.

Soccer theme for October 1st!

woooooo! Soccer! Futbol! yay! so as you can tell by now, this week's theme is soccer! I put up a photo of David Beckham in his soccer gear for you, and i'll have you know that i had to restrain myself from posting one of his very gorgeous model photos. you know how to use Google images yourself. anyways, back to our theme! soccer! ok so just do whateva. OH! we should have a huge game of soccer on Wednesday as our activity!!! yesssssss.
well last week's theme of Cowboy went over so well! so many people joined in and i was so glad to see it! we all missed Sam though. hopefully he'll be there this week, in his soccer gear. QUINN i can't wait to see youuuu!

Cowboy Theme for September 24th!!!

Let me start off by apologizing, mainly to Sam, for not posting last week. I am now reassured of my importance through his confession of being my audience. So last week's theme of "Sunday best" went very well, considering that Sam, KTZ, and I were the only participants. We all looked fine and dandy and possibly even presentable. Sam kept his youth alive by wearing his normal sneakers with his dressed up clothes, and KTZ kept me amused by wearing a flowered cap. And now on to this week's theme of "Cowboy." You can draw from any part of Western/Cowboy/Redneck fashion that you want, just have fun with it. Gaze into John Wayne's eyes for inspiration. Or you could just look at Emily Loveland. Either way, don't be afraid to embrace a sense of "poserishness" (copyright to Sam). We started themed dress up days to have fun and do something unique! So just do it as Nike would say.
